Fortune in Bloom
The first thing you notice is the colour. Blue, pink and golden-orange blooms spill across the red packet, their fine lines giving the petals the look of embroidery. Between the flowers, two birds sweep across the design, bringing a sense of movement to the scene.
At the heart of the packet is the gold character 福 (fú), a wish for good fortune. As you tilt the packet, the gold catches the light and the embossed details come into view. It’s a small touch that makes the moment of handing over an ang pao feel a little more special.
