When Good Wishes Take Flight
Four golden cranes rise across a red sky, weaving between curling clouds and clusters of blossoms. Below them, green pines anchor the design while sweeping lines lead the eye upward, from the first crane to the one already nearing the top.
At the lower right, four characters complete the story. 吉祥如意 is a wish for good fortune and for things to go as you hope. It gives the design a personal meaning. When you hand someone this ang pao, you’re sending a wish of your own along with the gift inside.
